Ateeqi Tech began in Muhammed’s third year of university, driven by a practical need — he wanted to take a course costing around 10,000 EGP, while his income at the time (from content creation) was irregular. He borrowed roughly 25,000 EGP and launched the business, advertising through Facebook and Instagram. Unlike a typical resale operation, it started with the customer’s actual needs — understanding what someone needed a laptop for and their budget, then sourcing the right machine and shipping it to them. Over about a year, Muhammed sold more than 80 laptops, growing the business to roughly 80,000 EGP in net proceeds, while living independently in Cairo.
